Idiyappam is one simple dish and is prepared often at many south Indian households for breakfast or dinner.
It is made of rice flour , salt and water. And kneaded to a smooth dough. These are given noodles shape with the help of a idiyappam press. Then it is steamed on a greased idli mould or on banana leaves traditionally in a idli cooker or steamer.
Idiyappam and stew or Idiyappam and chicken curry are the best combinations.
